Halo Reach Review (Part 2)

So multiplayer, what is it like? Well it is very familiar to all the other Halo's but it still has a very very new feeling. How does this happen? One answer, armor abilities. This changes so much in the game. It add a whole new level of playing and how to use an ability to your advantage. Surprisingly, they are balanced!
Armor lock is one of the many abilities
Halo still manages to make a feeling of community. You still have those people who can forge any map into anything. You have the MLG people. You have the people who are sucked into the lore of the campaign and the books. You have those who play custom games with their friends. You have those you talk smack to. You have those who just play online for the heck of it. You have those who have mastered teamwork through firefight. You have another Halo experience. That is what Halo to me boils down to. The interaction with those people who love the game like I do. I have made friends through this game and met some amazing people who I still talk to today.

So what brings people together in Halo? The answer is simple, Bungie defined the FPS genre how it is today and how we interact with each other in-game. I bet if it weren't for Halo we would just be getting into having headsets and being able to talk to our team mates or our enemies. So what does separate Halo from CoD or any other shooter? Bungie.net is the key here. They have an active forum, you can check any stats and if you see a file you want from work, you can just add it for download later.

HALO REACH RATING (out of 10)

Graphics - 9/10 (Has some issues with rendering and frame-rates)

Sound - 10/10 (Best sound in any Halo yet)

Gameplay - 9.5/10 (Has a few bugs that need working out)

Presentation - 10/10 (You can tell Bungie poured their heart into their final work)

Overall - 9.5/10 (I absolutely love this game and would recommend it to anyone!)

Halo Reach Review

So I have had Halo Reach since the midnight release of it. I find it so far the best shooter and multi-player experience I have ever had. The game has a crisp nice feel to it that is then added by its amazing graphics and sounds. Not to mention the game play is top of its class! It is still very much a Halo game, but to Halo veterans this will still feel like a new but yet familiar game.
Campaign has a sad mood

Lets break this review into 2 parts. First the Campaign or Single Player. While the term Single Player is technically wrong because you can play Campaign with up to 4 people, it is still way fun on your own or with your friends. The campaign is so much more different with abilities added in. And Elites? Yeah they are no longer dumb A.I. or weak aliens. Elites scare me in this game. While playing the campaign though, you can't help but feel a sense of wonder and awe, while you feel some hopelessness and remorse. Bungie really created by far, the most captivating and touching story I have ever seen in a campaign for any game. This is why I think they really need to make a Halo movie, it would just be so amazing.

Part 2 coming soon...
